Almost 4 years after our last haul-out (2 1/2 coats of Pettit) and being in salt water in the San Francisco Bay area we decided that it was time to get a new bottom paint job. So July 2010 we got the job done at the Boat Yard at Grand Marina in Alameda, California (formerly known as Mariner boat yeard which is the same place with the same employees as the last haulout back in 2006 as they do excellent work. This time they put on 2 coats of Micron 66 (first coat is blue and the top coat is red) which we understand is "the best" however it's strictly for salt water conditions. They did an excllent job and we look forward to at least 3 years before the next haulout. They also installed 2 new batteries. to commissioning | to some good times to our index
